The DATUM function of the GV/GV-H450 series enables the following:
The newly developed GV CMOS (GV-H450) product offers stable detection with high-speed response. Each pixel in this product is larger than that of traditional CMOS sensors, allowing it to receive a greater amount of reflected light. This results in stable detection outcomes and rapid response capabilities.
Measurement Principle:
It employs the triangulation principle. When there is a change in the distance between the measurement method (based on this principle) and the target object, the position of the light-receiving element also changes. The amount of GV-H450 received light is detected by the CMOS sensor. By combining the distance information with the received light intensity, this approach resolves the previously challenging issue of detecting multiply-reflective objects, ensuring stable detection performance.
Application Examples:
This GV-H450 technology is commonly used in various detection scenarios, including:
- Detecting the presence or absence of welded nuts.
- Inspecting quenched parts.
- Monitoring warpage in metal sheets.
- Detecting machined grooves in tubular workpieces.
